You get a companion that's one in the game, and even though he has 17 Wisdom for some god forsaken reason he's still really good. Remember, we build for the worst case not the best case.As for the rest, Zen Archer is the highest DPS in the game, period. Your big offensive spells need to come out sooner rather than later, because action economy is a real, and when it matters you can't afford to wait till the end of the round because by that time half your party will be dazed or some other nonsense. See, the real advantage of spontaneous is the ability to flexibly use metamagics to alter your spells as you need, and since the spell list is dramatically reduced so there's only 2-3 spells at every spell level worth casting the vast majority of the time spontaneous would win out, right? No. Okay, that doesn't really explain it but let me break it down for you: metamagic increasing cast times to full round actions that complete negate any flexibility gained by being spontaneous. That's how over tuned it is.Įlephant is the room: Why is Sorcerer and Arcanist down here? One word: metamagic. But Earth Kineticist is so disgusting that it deserves the S rank even though she doesn't have summons or anywhere near the utility/buffs. If you're not going Earth then she's at the bottom of B. Kineticist is only here because of that Earth combo. They've got great spells, your the main character so SR isn't as crippling for you as it is for the rest of your party, and summons. Cleric, Wizard, Witch, and Shaman should be pretty self explanatory. Where all the prepared casters hang out, and the Kineticist because Earth combos exist. And then you can even take a dip of Monk just to add insult to injury, not necessary but its hilarious. Basically, Druid can literally do everything all the time without trying. Double all your spells? Great! Mythic Path to cover up any weaknesses and make you able to be both the best melee fighter and caster in your group? Yes please! Oh, and you have the second best spell list in the game and, arguably, the most well balanced spell list. Unlimited shifts per day? Not that you were really running out before, but thats a MASSIVE QOL change. Magus, Bloodrager, Ranger, Slayer, Rogue, Fighter, Melee Alchemist, Hunter, Paladin, Arcane Tricksterĭruidzilla is back boys! They benefit from Mythic Path to an absurd degree. Zen Archer, Bomber Alchemist, Arcanist, Sorcerer, Bard, Skald, Monster Tactician, Warpriest, Oracle S+Ĭleric, Wizard, Witch, Shaman, Kineticist I'm also not going to touch on most of the Prestige or Archetypes since, generally speaking, they're absolutely awful and a newb trap. I'm not going to break down what the best Mythic path for each class is (there's already a post for that), but I will give an explanation for each tier. The new Mythic paths add some pretty interesting abilities and they create some BIG winners and definitely elevate very specific builds significantly. Please don't break those either.įor all you out there that like cranking up the difficulty, or want to give it a try, I figured hey: why not make a tier list and see if Mythic has really shaken things up!
